Wikipedia says:
Renovations (also called remodeling) is the process of improving a broken, damaged, or outdated structure. Renovations are typically either commercial or residential. Additionally, renovation can refer to making something new, or bringing something back to life and can apply in social contexts.

Renovation can be difficult. It causes for ripping out old floors, scrapping off popcorn ceilings, completely gutting some areas of the house; and It’s also expensive! Money needs to be allocated to the demolition, design, blue print, materials, construction, and the like. However, when all the work is complete, you feel the investment was well worth it!

Spiritual Renovation is pretty much the same.

Some areas we will be able to “do it ourselves” but most areas, we’re going to have to bring in some professional help! The Holy Spirit. We’re going to need to invest time and money into this spiritual renovation. Carving out time to spend with God so He can get to work. We will need to give Him complete control over the areas of our spiritual houses, that we’ve previously closed off to Him. We’re going to need to let Him design and redesign our hearts and minds and allow Him to furnish us.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3:16-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I know these emails lately seem repetitive, but think about this way: God really wants us to dig deep, and see that no matter where we are in our lives, something about us needs a make over, renovation, or face lift. We’ve been putting it off for years because it’s painful, or we’ve just gotten complacent, but I feel God is calling us, me and you, to newness. Newness only found in Jesus Christ our Lord! Will you answer His call today, and get your consultation and inspection; so you can be made new?
