Hi Good Thing!

Yesterday I celebrated my 38th birthday 🥳

This birthday was different than any other in regards to my feelings and the weight of my time on this earth being brief. No, I didn’t feel sad or worried but informed. It’s like I could see and honestly feel that time is out of my control.

Time is a gift from God and yesterday I could feel the beauty, breath, and brevity of it and this question came to me; have I, am I, and will I use this gift of time wisely?

“Teach us to number our days carefully so that we may develop wisdom in our hearts.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭90:12‬ ‭CSB‬‬

Sister, I’m asking you the same question. How are you using your time gift? Are you wasting it because you feel like you’ll get more it? Are you trying to hold on tight to past times because you don’t want to let go? Are you stuck in time because you refuse to forgive and get therapy to help you to move forward in time? Or are you thriving in the present time because you’ve asked our Heavenly Father to teach you to live out each day with wisdom?

I know some of you are younger than me and thinking you have all the time in the world to do “whatever”, and some of you have some or even a lot of years on me and feel like your time has past, but the truth is we don’t know! So my prayer for us this day and every day God gives us is to live! To live to the glory of God and seek His face for wisdom on how to love Him and others. My prayer is that each day we make time to be with God, love His people, and give each day our all because it truly could be our last time doing it.

Please don’t look up one day with the should’ve, could’ve, would’ve’s. Take some time today to pray and ask Him how to fulfill your purpose, or how to bring the love and intimacy back into your marriage, or for wisdom on what your next step is. If you’re reading this, my encouragement to you is this (in my soft whisper) “You still have time”. ❤️

In Christ’s Love,
