The words we say matter! We use words to come into a relationship with Jesus Christ. “because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:9-10‬ ‭ESV‬‬

God spoke creation into existence. He said let there be light and there was light. He’d say let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and it did! (Genesis 1:3, 20)

So what about your words? What have you been saying? What have you been creating or stirring up in your home, relationships, at work, with your children, your spouse, or even yourself? If I’m honest, I’ve  been asking God to help me with my words a lot this year! First starting with myself and the words I use when I describe myself. Words I use to talk to and about others; overall really asking God to change my heart and renew my mind! (Proverbs 23:7, Romans 12:2)

The Word of God is words right? Words that God has spoken to us, to help us, heal us, comfort us, and transform us. God’s Word gives us wisdom, joy, peace and so much more. Come with me to the fountain of God’s Word so our sometimes bitter cutting words, can be transformed into sweet refreshing words that bless the hearer, and ourselves.
