I have. I have felt downright awful at times. But God reminded me to reach up and out. To reach up to Him in prayer and to reach out to other Sisters in Christ.

Sometimes as wives, mothers, sisters, administrators, directors, teachers; all the many things we do, we forget that we have a community, a sisterhood, a flock of other sheep in God’s fold that God has strategically placed in our lives to help us along the way. It’s not bad to get discouraged or feel down, we are humans so that’s bound to happen. What’s bad is when we feel prideful and keep it to ourselves because we don’t want to be seen as weak. Sis, it’s okay to let your hair down and be vulnerable with the sheep the Great Shepherd has placed in your life. God is certainly our first go to when we are going through, but He has also purposely placed us in this body of believers so we can draw strength, love, and even laughter from each other.

Here are some scriptures to encourage you:

Psalms 23
John 10:7-18
1 Corinthians 12:12-27
