Another holiday has come and gone. Father’s Day. A day for some of you that was joyful, where you spent time with your father; eating, talking, and laughing. Also a day of sadness for some who have recently or not so recently lost their father, or even a day of frustration because they don’t have a good relationship with their father.

However you spent yesterday, be reminded and encouraged that we have a Heavenly Father too. A Father who sees us, knows us, and loves us. A Father God who is not stained with sin, sickness, or mortality. A strong and powerful Father God who is wants us and beckons us to come to Him. In prayer He invites us. He invites us to talk and listen. A Father God who will comfort us and strengthen us. A Father God we can run to. A Father who truly cares.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭1:3‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“and I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty.””
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭6:18‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭68:5‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:1‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Each one of us are in different seasons. Married, single, separated, engaged, empty nester, divorced, retired, working, child rearing, infertility issues, in a time of transition, and I could go on and on but the point is this; wherever we are, Our Father Is With Us. Just as the pictured scripture says, go to Him, shut your door, and pray; because your Father hears you and wants to hear from you, and reward you. Not necessarily with your will, but with His. And truth be told, His will is so much better. Go ahead Sis, talk to your Heavenly Father. Then get in His Word, so you can hear from Him 💕
