“The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he also hears their cry and saves them. The Lord preserves all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy. My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord, and let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭145:18-21‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Hi Good Thing,

I read this Psalm and thought of our upcoming prayer picnic. The Lord is near to us when we call on Him! It really showed me that if the the Lord seems far, maybe it’s because I’m not calling on Him enough;  maybe I need to open my mouth in praise to Him more! I get excited thinking of the wonder that awaits us when we come together in less than two weeks, to pray to our Heavenly Father, and bless His name as sisters in Christ!

God really does pay attention to His children when they are together, calling on Him for peace, rescue, healing, and salvation; and worshiping Him in spirit and in truth. Don’t believe me? Check out these two passages of scripture:

‭‭Acts‬ ‭12:4-7‬ ‭ESV‬‬ and Acts 16:16-34

These scriptures tell of how the people of God prayed and or praised and spectacular things happened. Please go read for yourself.

All of these scriptures remind us to stop focusing on the issues, but to look up to our Great God, and watch Him do the impossible!
There are 18 seats left for the prayer picnic. Rsvp and let me know you’re coming. I can’t wait to pray and praise with you❤️
